Fence gate stuck after rain
I have a new fence about 2 years old.
We got a lot of rain last week.
I tried to open the gate today for the gardener and it wouldnt budge. Both of us got it to open after pushing hard. Now when trying to close it it wouldnt close. We both had to push again to close it.
I see on the gate and the post there is still some water. I am guessing the water from the rain is swelling the wood causing expansion.
Is there a way to fix this? Something I can buy to spray on the gate? And if so where do I spray? Just on where the fence gate door meets the post?

So the gate is sticking at the post ??
If the issue is the wood swelling from moisture there isn't a lot you can do other than let it dry out. You could force it open and shave a little wood off to get more clearance. I would recommend you seal the wood with exterior stain once the wood dries out. That will prevent or slow moisture absorption.

The point Joe was trying to make is post a picture so we don't have to guess at the problem.
