Can i close the gap between fence boards after it dried?
Hi,
I installed a fence a few months ago and the gaps between the boards (there were none) has now formed. Is it ok to reinstall the boards after closing the gap? I'm worried that in the winter, when it rains every day (in Seattle area), the boards will expand again and cause issues because there's no room to expand.

Welcome to the forums!
You are better off leaving the fence like it is. It is possible that the boards could expand when wet [maybe not as much as before] also it's better for a little air to be able to pass thru both to facilitate drying the boards after a rain and to let a little wind thru reducing the stress on the entire fence.
