Gas Fireplace Questions
I recently bought a home that came with a gas fireplace that I'm a bit confused about. The fireplace has a burner which looks like it's really out of place. It also looks like the gas line is stubbed out pretty far. My thoughts were to just replace the burner with a gas log set and call it a done deal. Would there be anything wrong with that?

Thanks!

That's not really a gas fireplace. That looks like a log starter. It would only be used to get a wood fire started.
You should be able to put a gas log set in. You'd need to check the location of the gas line as they have specs. about where it needs to be.
