Free standing propane stove maintenance

Heading up to the cottage soon to open Er up. Will be using the propane standalone heating stove for the first time since last fall.

What maintenance is required on these units?

It would help if you told us what you have. "Propane stove" is very general and could be almost anything.

That would be a Regency classic C34-LP3
Here's an extremely handy manual.... regency-fire/Manual.pdf

Page 29 discusses replacing batteries annually in the spark unit.... if equipped.
Page 36 discusses routine maintenance.

Eventually the pilot orifice in the gas pilot will need to be cleaned. It gets gummed up from the products in the propane. It's not a hard job but not terribly easy to get to. The pilot flame needs to be fairly large and bushy. The orange ovals demonstrate that the flame must engulf the thermocouple and the thermopile for proper operation.
