Heatilator Gas Fireplace - Backup ignition battery pack
Greetings,
I bought a house with a gas fire place. House was rented, apparently tenants never replaced the batteries (they probably didn't even know there are batteries) and the batteries in the backup pack leaked.
I put a fresh pair of D batteries and the ignition works, but I want to replace the pack with a clean one.
Can I use just any D battery pack or does it have to specific for the fireplace?
My common sense tells me a battery pack is a battery pack but when I searched in Amazon, many of them say "for Physics". Clearly I don't know want to burn the house. I suppose "for Physics" is part of the seller's marketing approach to attract students.
Appreciate the help.
Thanks.
