Can’t take out chimney liner.

I am trying to remove a flexible metal chimney liner in an external masonry chimney and it won’t budge!!! Any ideas?!?

Welcome to the forums!

All I know is to pull harder. .... which will probably destroy the liner

It's going to be heavy. Usually it's disconnected from the insert and then pulled up.

Tried pulling in it and it’s still not moving and everything that was holding it in place is disconnected..... I’m gonna try to stick something down the side of it and see if it helps break it loose

Out of curiosity, why are you removing the metal liner?
