Fireplace Masonry Air Leak
We just built our home and I'm noticing a pretty good air leak through the masonry gaps between the floor and the hearth, and the mantle and brickwork.
I'm also feeling cold air coming in around the perimeter or border of the sealed, direct vent fireplace itself.
My question is - what kind of product would I use to seal up the areas between the mortar joints and the floor, as well as the stone itself and the floor? And also, how should I seal up the fireplace itself?
Thanks for any help.
