Portable electric fireplace: no heat

I have a portable fireplace heater that I love, but it does not love me anymore. The flame works, the fan works but not the heater. It is made by a company called "Quality Craft" QC555, 1500 watts. The thermostat seems to be ok but I am not sure if it ok. Can anyone shed some light?

Do you have a multimeter? Have you opened the heater up to look for the problem? Is it a burned out heating element? Is it a over temp safety switch that has tripped or blown?

I can't find any info on that exact model.
As Dane mentioned a meter will be needed and most likely the problem with be a heat safety sensor.
Some are self resetting and some trip open and need replacement.

We can work with you but pictures would be needed of the inside wiring.
How to insert pictures.

Help me understand your statement. "The flame works, the fan works but not the heater."

It's an electric fireplace. It has a Mylar film "flame" tube that turns with a light shining thru.
It's basically a 1500 watt electric heater with the "real flame" look,.
