adhering sheet vinyl to tile

friend of mine in a cheap condo wants me to put down sheet vinyl over the ugly older tile in bathroom- While I don't think it's the best look- what is the best type of adhesive to use to attach the sheet vinyl to the existing floor?

Sheet vinyl needs a very smooth floor. I think the grout lines in the tile will cause problems. But, if you've gotta do it I'd just use regular adhesive for vinyl flooring.

I'm with Dane that I think the end result is going to be ugly; vinyl is very good at showing all of the imperfections in the floor beneath it.
