Is this asbestos vinyl flooring?

Hi, I am removing the flooring in my kitchen, and I came across a layer of flooring that may be asbestos. I took some pictures, ND I hope you guys will be able to tell of it is. I did not see any black or oily residue under it.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Here are some pictures:

Hi Chandler,

Thanks for pointing it out to me. It's easier to post them your way anyway!

Edited my post.

You may want to fill out your profile, too as we don't know where you are located. Sometimes help is indigenous to your location. I have never seen tile set in a jute type backing. What size are the tiles? Generally asbestos containing tiles were 9" x 9".

What you have pulled up appears to have been set in thiniset or a type of concrete base.

As long as you don't sand it or cause it to be friable, you could probably remove it and bag it without problems. Of course wear breathing protection when doing any type of demo work.

Some of the others may have seen this, so hang in there for more information.
