Framing a 1200sqft workshop on slab
Does anyone have any suggestions requarding literature on basic framing for a DIY’er like myself. I’m eventually going to build a very basic rectangle 1200sqft workshop on a slab

How high is the edge of the slab off of the ground? Often it's a good idea to lay one course of block so the wood framing/siding is up further. That helps prevent the rot that often happens when wood is too close to the grade.
