Filling unused holes in framing after rewiring house.

Just finished rewiring our old Victorian home and have several holes in the framing that need to be filled. Should I use expanding fire rated foam or wood putty. or something else. The holes are all about 3/4" wide. Most of the holes are in the bottom plate and a couple in the top plate.

Fire rated foam would be best.

Fire rated foam is the quickest, easiest and it satisfies code. Seal all holes and gaps around wires & pipes in top and bottom plates to prevent fire from easily moving upwards.

Thanks for the recommendations. Will use fire rated foam to fill the holes.
