Need laminate strips of some sort
I have a dresser with exposed wood edge. I want some sort of laminate strips or tape to put on it? Do they make this and what's it called? I don't want the duct tape wood color and i need it to be dark...

It's called edge banding and is available in many materials: wood, pvc, laminate, and more. Self adhesive, iron on, or glue on.

As Paul mentioned, you can get real wood veneer edge banding, iron it on, and stain and finish it in any color you like after it is applied. Its usually sold in small 25' rolls along with the trim/millwork.

As far as I know the iron and self adhesive banding only comes unfinished but as X said it's no big deal to stain it the color you need. I've stained/finished a lot of it over the years.

Thanks guys. Found the iron on edge banding at HD and a stain that looks almost identical. I'm almost finished and it is unnoticeable so far. Appreciate the help.
