End table behind sectional

So..

I have attached how my living room is laid out. The cut outs in the square are a door (at the top), and a doorway into my dining room at the bottom (which is about 8 feet wide).

Due to the setup of the living room, this is how I have to set up my sectional (I had a couch and loveseat, and still had to lay it out this way, too).

Is it acceptable to place an end-table behind the sectional, where the picture depicts it?

The alternative was to place the console stand behind the sectional, where the end table is, but it has drawers on it and they wouldn't be very accessible behind the sectional piece, so I placed it along the left wall, which is the dividing wall for another room.

So my question is, should I just omit the end table at all, and give that side of the sectional no rest area for drinks, etc, or leave it how it is?

I couldn't read the detail in your diagram and enlarging it didn't help much.
Maybe you can describe what you are doing by the colors.

Yeah the upload got smudged .

Red is the location of the console table. Green is the sectional and blue is the end tables and coffee table.

Yellow is the tv .
