Bubble In Pressed Wood Coffee Table
Hi,
I have what I believe to be a pressed wood coffee table. Recently a spill caused bubbling. Is there any way to remove it or repair it? I’ve seen plenty of DIY tips for veneer, but none for pressed wood. Here is a link to an image of the bubbling.

Any advice would be appreciated.
Thank You!

Doubtful. Particle board likes to expand when it gets wet, and once it does there is no going back. The water must have crept under the finish along the cut edge where the table leaves meet.
