Handle on Coffee Table

This coffee table, I was told, was purchased about 58 years ago when my parents moved into their new home. For a long as I can remember it has been missing a handle.

What is the best way to replace this? Even if I could find a handle that just stuck on with adhesive would be better than what it looks like now. Really don't keep anything in it anyway.

Just measure the distance between the mounting holes (probably 3" or 3") and start looking for drop handle styles you like and replace them.

Maybe something like this for $4 each and all of about 3 minutes to add them!

Since you will never match it exactly, replace all the hardware with something similar so that it will all match.
