Help with kitchen drawers
Hello! We’re about to start updating our kitchen. We’re keeping the cabinets because they’re in great shape, but the top row of drawers in the kitchen all have this “lip” that sticks out instead of the traditional drawer pulls. We’d like to get rid of the lip and add hardware but aren’t sure how to go about it. Any ideas? Thanks for your help!

Looks to me like you would need to run the entire drawer box through a table saw to cut that off. You would place the lip against the fence (fence on the right) and be sure the drawer face is about 1/16" to the left of the blade... you want to be sure the blade doesn't cut into the drawer face, so that's why you want to leave 1/16" sticking out... then you can belt sand that down flush after you make your cut.

I'm not sure they are replaceable. When you open the drawer, do you see 2 screws inside, holding the drawer front on? I was assuming there are no screws and that the drawer front is not removable.
