White spots on wood table
Hi all-
My daughter put a cleaning handwipe on our side table and it left these white spots. I've tried removing them with Orange Glo but they won't come off. Pics attached. Is there anything I can do here?
thanks!

You need to google "wood water spots", it's due to water getting into/under the finish and there are many "internet fixes".
Personally the only fix I have ever done (kids and better half) leaving glasses on bedroom night stands is sand, stain, and refinish!
Maybe the mayonnaise paste will work for you!!

One of the tricks I've tried is to use an iron.....put a flour sack dish towel over the spot and used the iron (set at cotton temp) to heat. The flour sack dish cloth absorbed the water spot. My furniture isn't top of the line stuff, so I was will to take a chance doing this. Glad I did, cuz it worked! :-)

I'm thinking, if that handwipe contained any alcohol, that would have eaten any finish and there'd be no getting it off, short of sanding and refinishing.
