right angle clamp for larger wood members

I'm looking for a clamp to use to build a couple gates for my deck. I'm using 2x4s so the clamp needs to be able to accommodate at least 3-1/2" but I"m not finding any that do. Anyone aware of any out there?

Thanks.

A piece of plywood, some 2x4's, some C-clamps, and carpenter square and I'd just make my own!

Yeah, for a better carpenter, great idea. Every time I try to do that I can never get it quite right.

Just pay attention to your square as you fashion it together.

So how big do you need!

Lots of smaller corner clamps but if your looking for something to hold a gate/2x4's even if you find one it's going to be $!

For symmetrical gate with sides equal and top and bottom equal, build gate outline with one fastener at each corner, measure the diagonals, and adjust until the diagonals are equal.

If you build it using a Kreg tool and just lay it on a flat surface, there's no need for clamps.

I have built a few gates in my time and never used corner clamps or any other type of clamp so I do not understand what you are trying to do.
