New Window Inserts
Just moving in to a foreclosed home in Tampa . Need to get new garage door window inserts , as the old ones are broken . Opening's are 19 1/2 by 12 , cannot seem to find this size anywhere online . Style is called "Stockton" or Colonial , very simple center cross . Any good place to find it , don't see a manufacturer tag on door .

There should be a label, either on the sides or top that tell you the manufacturer. I've even seen them between the panels. That would be your best bet. Otherwise I'd call a local installer that handles multiple brands and ask them to take a look at their leisure. An e-mail with photo's to them might also help. Every brand has little quirks that a good installer will recognize.

I'm trying again , no manufacturer name on door . Called the company that installed the new torsion spring when we bought the house , three calls and no answer . No one else seems to know here ! Something that should be so simple . I cannot find replacement windows anywhere it seems .

Hi Jim, I'm reading but limited experience here. In my area I have at least one garage door specialty company that carries everything i have ever needed. My old time glass company would be my next stop. Can't advise where, but there are usually mfg labels somewhere. I know on a regular double hung window it is printed in fine print in one of the bottom corners of the glass. Point being, they don't go out of their way to make it easy to find.

Look on the ends of the sections. there is usually a tag. Post pics of inside springs, hinges and any handles... maybe I can recognize something

This is a steel door, right? If you can't find a factory label, can you remove the existing frame. If so you may be able to bring it to a glass repair shop and they can install glass or plexi in the old frame.
