How to setup a garage remote control?

I just bought this universal garage door remote from Chamberlain and it's not working. I'm unable to setup the remote to work with my existing garage door opener. Here's the manual, http://www.chamberlain.com/special-f...48_online.aspx. I have the Stanley Model ST500 garage opener. Here's the switch on the back. Name: Screenshot 2016-10-17 20.07.29.jpg

And here's what I have the universal remote control set at:

Any help is much appreciated.

If using the Universal Remote Control with residential door openers, the remote control must be used only with door openers manufactured after 1993 that utilize photoelectric sensors. The photoelectric sensors are always located on or near the bottom of the door track.

Did you follow the programming on page 12 and push the button 16 times ?

Awesome! Thanks, PJmax. I got the universal remote control to work. This universal remote control says it opens up to two garage door and it has two buttons but if I'm using a switch dip, is it possible to setup with two garage opener? I don't think I see on the instruction on how to setup the second garage door opener. My second garage opener is exactly the same brand and model.
