How to troubleshoot Stanley garage door opener just flashing trying to open?

I have the Stanley ST500 garage opener and it just flashes when I tried to open by pressing on the wired wall mount unit control. I tried it on the wireless remote control and it does the same thing. Any tips in diagnosing this opener is appreciated.

Thank you!

Very little usable tech info on that unit.
Does it have the photoelectric sensors at the bottom of the door ?
It doesn't use the sensors to open the door.... just trying to figure out your opener.

Same questions will apply in reference to your remote control search.

Okay, so I found out that the light on the sensor is not lit or turn on at all. I was wondering if it has to do with the sensor cable.

If so, I was wondering where I can get a replacement.

Okay, I just found out that perhaps it's the garage opener. I put a non-contact voltage tester to the two pins that this plugin wire plugs in and there is no sign of voltage while the working garage opener on the other side shows some voltage on these two pins. If so, does this mean my garage opener is dead for good?
