Replacing Bad Plywood with Polycarbonate?
Our shed has an opening at the top that was covered by plywood by previous owners. The plywood really needs to be replaced but we don't want to replace it with plywood as it looks rather shabby. On the flip-side we do not want to pay for a proper window + window installation so we were thinking of re-covering using polycarbonate or acrylic. Does that sound like a reasonable solution? Any tips? TIA!

We went by Lowes but it was hard to get a sense because we hadn't measured the space yet and the pricing was not too clear. What kind of pricing would you expect? Any suggestions on an alternative cover?

Even a fresh piece of plywood, primed and painted to match or compliment the bldg would be a big improvement.
