What kind of weeds are these, and can I stop them...?
I know very little about gardening, but these little weeds always grow everywhere around my house. I'm wondering if someone can tell me what kind they are, and if I can stop them? I guess I figure if I know their name, maybe I can find a product to stop them without harming the plants around them.. You can click the thumbnails to view a larger image.

Thank you for the replies. I'll have to see if I can find a product that is safe to use near Holly, azalea, and day lillies.

Doubtful. Just apply carefully - around here we pour the herbicide into a cup and use a small brush to paint the leaves of the offending plant.
