Sweet potatoes

I harvested sweet potatoes for the first time and got quite a few. I read that they need to be stored in a warm dry place for a few days, then a cool dry place. Is storing them in 62-65 dry place for a week or 2 after harvesting OK? I don't want to bring them into the house.

Thanks for any help.

I usually store mine warm for more like a few weeks to a month. Then I put them in the wine cellar which is cool and dark and does not have other vegetables. I don't store them in mass like in a bucket. Instead I spread them out so they can breath well and it's easy to keep an eye on them for the instant one starts to go bad I get it out of there immediately.
