Thumbs down Unknown vine? In oak tree roots

I want to know what this plant is, in the roots of my oak tree. I live in Mobile, Alabama.
Also, how can I get rid of the plant?
Can I spray with white vinegar?

Hate to tell you but I think you have more oak trees sprouting there, which sprout from acorns...

Added more pictures

I added two pictures that show the roots. Wouldn't an acorn seedling show a vertical root?
Thanks for your reply.

Those leaves look like a Holly, but I dont think Holly leaves would be that mature on that little small vine/growth like that. A Holly would need to be a more mature/bigger/larger/bushier to produce leaves that size.... I think.

So my point is, while it looks similar to a Holly, I really don't think it is but, I cant be sure. Hopefully, my inexperience may trigger someone else's knowledge.

Google Virginia Creeper. See if that maybe a possibility. Good luck.

Hmm, yes Frank, seedlings would have a vertical tap root, not sure now. Maybe Dixie is onto something.

I think the above link sounds similar to my case - they are suckers from the oak tree roots.
I also found that we don't know why some trees have the suckers and some do not.
(I have about 7 oak trees and only one with the suckers.)
I plan to cut the root suckers occasionally.
Thank you,
Frank

How about dig down 6" to 1 foot....and pull up a clump. Are there acorns attached to the root ?
If not possible to dig....get pliers/vise grips and gently pull up a single shoot to see what's what.
