Nat gas pizza oven hookup
Hi all, I purchased a NG pizza oven from Italy and would like to get it set up. I have a 1/2” outlet ready for it and the pizza oven has 2 burners, each needing its own 3/8” hose to connect to the burner valve. I was planning to:
- run a quick disconnect from the 1/2” outlet:
https://www.amazon.ca/SHINESTAR-Natu...dp/B07DVKKPVQ/
- screw in a 1/2” male to male brass piece:
https://www.amazon.ca/Anderson-Metal.../dp/B000BQY9XW
- attach a brass 1/2” tee:
https://www.homehardware.ca/en/12-brass-tee/p/3291501
- use the following hose twice, to step down to 3/8” and get the burner valves on:
https://www.amazon.ca/Stanbroil-Non-.../dp/B01LY373D9
Here is a pic of one of the two burner valves (not the flare, not sure if this is an issue?):
Any issues with this plan?
Thanks,
Mark

Welcome to our forums!
This is an installation that requires a permit and whoever grants it will advise on what components are ok to use.
The hook-up aside there are a few things you will need to address.
The gas appliance needs to be approved and tagged by CSA or similar for use in your area.
Also, the components you use must also be approved, fittings included.
The hose assembly MFR claims it is approved and it appears there is a visible approval mark on the hose but the assembly of hose and fittings needs a separate tag.
