Winchester furnace troubleshooting

I have a winchester furnace. When we try to start it, it blinks 7 times. We looked up the code and found what the code meant. We replaced the flame sensor, cleaned the ignition thing, checked the gas flow. We shut the electricity off to the furnace and turned it back on. And it still will not work. What could be the problem? The furnace is only a couple years old, trying to avoid a service call because can't really afford it...but it's pretty cold so need a solution.

If the code said flame failure then the flame sensor was working. What is the model number of the furnace?

That's not necessarily true. You can get a flame failure error code whether the flame sensor is working OK or not.

The description of what is happening is too vague to be of much help.

Take the cover off the front of the furnace and carefully observe the sequence of events which occurs when you turn up the thermostat. Post that sequence here, in order and in detail.

What should happen is;
\
1 Turn up the thermostat and the inducer motor should turn on and come up to speed.

2. When the inducer motor comes up to speed, the hot surface ignitor should turn on and heat up.

3. After then HSI heats up, the main burner gas should turn on and the gas should light off the HSI,

4. After a minute or two, the fan circulating air around the house should turn on.
