furnace squeaks and growls
My furnace started to squeak and growl every time furnace starts to work, then the sound disappears(while furnace still blows heat). Sound comes from that top part with this fan/motor. I attached video. Can you tell me how to fix it?

It works for me and my friends. I showed them and I heard that I need to replace this motor.
If i'm right then I hjave to replace this:
Fasco
7002-2633
type u028
hz60 A1.6
rpm 3000
p/n 1010975
I guess I choose Amazon unless you know something cheaper.

You need to use a file sharing site where an account is not needed.
I recommend you tube for videos posted here.

My apologies.... I run a heavy duty script editor due to all the links I encounter here. I hadn't allowed dropbox to run.
I've viewed your video and it's the draft inducer you need to replace.
I don't have the full model number for your furnace but that looks like a Carrier piece.
Shop around there are deals on it.

Igoogled 1010975 from motor label and i guess i will choose Amazon for $95 with 2day shipping. Im planning also to call local hvac stores to find it either cheaper or faster to get. Do i need that finnel blower part? It would be cheaper to just get motor with bearings...

It depends on how patient you are.
The black fan will come off the motor shaft easily. The problem is the blower wheel on
the other side could be difficult to remove.
Some people opt for the entire assembly. It's based on your mechanical skills.

So I called today many different stores that sells hvac parts locally to buy that draft inducer Fasco
7002-2633. Only 2 of them want to sell to me(not a contractor). One for $125, the other for $109. When I said Amazon sells it for $95, they were shocked but they matched it! I'm going right now.

Does Fasco have a part number for just the motor ?
I see used Fasco 7002-2633 assemblies on eBay, and sooner or later there'll be a new one; but you may just want to replace the motor . . . . or just a bearing/bushing ?

I have just replaced whole thing , paid $103, works good. I've just spent around 10min to clean/brush/vacuum with sand paper place where this blower has hole. Rust was so hard like a stone and kinda super big in one spot. Also is rust and lots of dirt suppose to come down through that pipe that connects above. I was knocking sides of pipe but there was no end of rust and dirty coming down.
