Older Oil Furnace Malfunction Video What's Wrong?
Hi,
Our older oil fed furnace is on the fritz. When we turn it on it fires up but then starts to click and the burner goes on and off intermittently. I've attached a video. Please pardon the sloppy camera work as I am recovering from hand surgery and trying to balance a phone and a flashlight.

Welcome to the forums.
That uses a Honeywell R8184m-1051 protector/control unit.
I'd have to say by the sound of it.... it's defective.
