Pressure Switch Stuck Closed (Again!)

Hi,

My furnace is reporting "Pressure Switch Stuck Closed". While searching for information, I came across my post own here from 2013 and the behavior and symptoms are *identical*:

https://www.doityourself.com/forum/g...s-replace.html

This time, cleaning the flame sensor did not solve the problem. So I replaced the flame sensor, which also did not solve the problem.

I have not replaced other parts yet. I have cleaned the condensate trap, which was gunked up. I have inspected all of the tubes/hoses/vents.

I would appreciate any advice. I don't feel like replacing several major parts like I did last time (to no avail).

Regards,

Ryan

Never mind!

I retraced my steps. What I'd already cleaned and replaced this time was the *igniter*. When I cleaned the *flame sensor* that fixed it. Which was the advice I received from my referenced last post 5+ years ago.

I guess I should set a reminder to clean the flame sensor every 5 years!
