Armstrong Air Oil Furnace Blower Issue
Trying to determine if it is the Fan Motor or the Capacitor.
Furnace is 8-10yrs old, Model #LUF80C84/95D16-3A
Hums when it is supposed to kick on, blower doesn't spin. Try to reach in and push the cage, can't really even force it around. Flip the switch to shut the furnace off, cage spins effortlessly by hand.
Any info on what the replacement motor and capacitor should be would be helpful, so I can have them on hand when I take the thing apart.
Also, it looks like I am going to have to take the entire back off the furnace to get the blower assembly out, is this correct?
Thank you.

Hi, who is the mfg. of the furnace? Post the mdl.# and spec’s for the motor, have you tried a Grainger supply house?

Posted that info in title and first post.
tried Grainger and no luck. Got an acquaintance w/ HVAC business to order it. Wont be here until Monday though. Seems like a riduculous wait time for a $130 motor.
