Furnace problem

When I set the thermostat to call for heat, the inducer motor will start, the spark igniter would continually spark and there would be a pilot flame however, the valve would not open and the burners will not light. So I tried replacing the flame sensor about a month ago, and it was fine for about a month. But then now the same thing is happening. Is this because of a problem in a control module?

Welcome to the forums,

You posted in the workshop heater area. Is this your home furnace ?
A make and model of your unit would be very helpful.

With an intermittent spark ignition system..... the pilot must be lit and be a good sized flame for the furnace to open the main gas valve.

That's an ICP furnace.
The S8600M is the intermittent ignition module

The original S8600M didn't have a separate flame sensor. It had an igniter/sensor rod. More than likely...... your problem is going to be with a dirty igniter/pilot assembly. It needs to be taken out and cleaned. The pilot orifice also needs to be cleaned.
