gas furnace flue pipe move

hi all, new here, and new to the home buying experience. we are about to purchase a home that has a 80% efficiency furnace, the flue pipe is right in the middle of a wall we would like to remove to open up the floor plan. i have been trying to do research to find out if it is possible to "move" the vent pipe over to the side of the wall to make it less in the way. but have not found anything. is it possible and/or safe to put a 90 degree turn in an exhaust pipe for a furnace or is that not a safe avenue to take to allow to exhaust to exit the home properly. and insight into this would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

Pictures of the existing & proposed set up would be helpful.
