Plexiglass Repair

I hope I've reached the right place for this question. I have a piece of colored plexiglass or acrylic, not sure, that I want to repair if possible. It doesn't have to look perfect.

I was thinking possibly melting the edges together with a soldering iron or torch? Or is there a certain glue that would fuse the edges together?

Once this is back in place it won't be that noticeable or subject to much stress. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks!

Plexiglass is a trade name for acrylic. It can be joined using a solvent cement like this one: https://www.amazon.com/Plastruct-Pla...99913766&psc=1

The cement works very well, you can also use super glue or epoxy if you happen to have that laying around!

Must determine if it acrylic or polystyrene. Whatever you use, check if it's made to use on plastic.
