Material in Rubbermaid Storage Lockers?

Anyone know what type of plastic and can it be glued? I have 2x2x6 double door unit and the 90 mph winds on Xmas ripped the doors off and broke one of the molded hinge pins on the doors. This is probably scrap.

Have you considered bolting strap hinges to the door and the shed?

That was quick, Ray. Once I got a door out in bright sunlight, I could see the HDPE label, therefore no shot at glue or heat welding. Not enough surface area for any kind of strength. I am considering cutting both molded hinge pins off and putting a 1/4" x 6' steel rod thru the door. Don't know if anyone stocks it locally.

Turned out 1/2" is the correct diameter and I found a 6" dowel at the hdwe store. Seems to work fine. Thanks for moderating the board.
