Pulley System

I would like to suspend a large plant from a live oak branch with some type of pulley system so that it can be raised and lowered to facilitate cutting the lawn. Can anyone suggest what type of pulley system would satisfy this requirement?

Maybe a two fold purchase. Https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=STMH-LkTVk4

You could probably also use a simple single pulley attached to a boat winch (hand crank).

How do you plane to attach the pulley system to the tree branch. And what kind of weight are you going to hoist? Also what is the diameter of the branch? The double sheave that X suggested will give a big mechanical advantage, but do you really need that much? Also determine how you're going to latch the rope when it's in the full up position. Is the branch at a near horizontal position?

A single pulley might work if you use a counter weight.
