Tap N Go storm door closer stuck open, solution found
My less-than-two-months old Tap-N-Go storm door closer got stuck in the open position. In this forum, I found a 9 year old thread which gave me the solution: I sprayed a lubricant (not WD40 but a similar product) on the notched square rod where it enters the cylinder and the problem is fixed. I'm really glad I saw that solution before I tried any of the more radical suggestions.
I started to reply in that original thread but the forum default language suggested that it would be better to start a new thread instead of responding to a thread that old.
