spring hinge adjustment
I've just installed 3 double spring hinges on a swinging kitchen door. They did not come with instructions! I pulled the hinge pin out in order to remove the tension so that they could be opened and screwed into place. Now when I put the hinge pin back in there is no tension on the spring, no matter which hole I use. These hinges do not have a hole at the top or bottom to secure the position of the tension. I've contacted the seller but have not received an answer.

Take a small Allen wrench, stick it in a hole and push the spring one way or the other and pull out the stop pin. Rotate it 1/4 turn at a time... insert the stop pin, move the Allen wrench to a new hole and repeat.
This assumes you don't have the type that wind from the top or bottom with an Allen wrench in a similar way.
