What do you call this kind of clamp?

I've attached an image of a type of clamp I've seen a hundred places, but for the life of me, I can't think of what they're called. All I need is the right term so I can go find one.

Thank you

Welcome to the forums.

What is the intended application ?

I don't know if there is a proper name. I used to call them rod mounting clamps.
They were used for door lock mechanisms in cars. They came in every door lock kit but I never saw them for sale separately.

What you have pictured is a perpendicular pinch block. Here are examples.
