Precautionary procedure: relay replacement
Changing a relay and my new one is a bit different than my old one. I have removed the new one, marked the wires locations and noted them on pictures. I am having a hard time distinguishing which post is which when installing the new one and just wanted to be sure. It prob seems silly but I would rather ask than wire it wrong so all help is appreciated.
Old Relay

Top Left post - Red Wire marked 1B
Middle Left post - Blue Wire marked 36D
Third Left Post - Jumper wire from middle post also marked 36D
Top Right post - Red Wire marked 20A
Middle Right Post - Orange Wire marked 45A
Third Right Post - Black Wire marked 47A

Like skaggsje mentioned..... they connect the same to the same numbers.
Your old relay was a two pole normally open relay.
Your new one is a two pole relay with open and closed contacts.
You'll ignore the center #2 and #5 contacts.

Since this was just precautionary, rather than urgent, why didn't you buy an exact replacement ?

It's sometimes easier to locate the DPDT version and many times it's less money.
Shouldn't be a problem.
Most relays I stock are double throw to reduce inventory.
