Z-wave with temperature control???

We have a Honeywell TUXWIFIW for a security system keypad, which also acts as a z-wave hub. It's not the most advanced z-wave hub out there, but it works.

We also have a animal shelter out back that has a louvered fan to cool down the building if it gets too hot.

Originally I had the fan controlled with a ThermoCube that turned on the fan at 78 degrees and turned off the fan at 70 degrees. I recently swapped the ThermoCube with a Z-wave outdoor outlet and it works well, except we have to remember to turn it on and off.

My wife would like to control the fan with her phone (Total Connect (Z-wave) app) as well as have it temperature controlled, so we don't have to remember to turn it on and off.

What do I need to get this to work??? Thanks in advance!

Not to answer your question..... but.... what was the matter with the thermostat ?
That would seem to be the ideal solution.

Ahhhh.... temperature control with Z...... I don't think so.

Just leave it on the thermostat.

Occasionally my wife works out there, cleaning up, etc., and gets "too hot". If the ThermoCube hasn't kicked on the fan, she is miserable and I hear about it, because she wants me to get the fan turned on.
