Bluetooth adapter
I have a receiver that I have a few outdoor speakers I would like to connect to it. I would like to have it in the garage and have the wires run along the soffit in the backyard around the patio area. Is there any bluetooth adapters out there I would use the connect my phone or tablet to it to stream spotify or pandora? Do they make a inexpensive bluetooth receiver I can connect speakers to? In my other house I just connected the device with a headphone jack to the unit but this would be in the garage now.

Your speakers are currently connected to a receiver.... correct ?
You could use an RCA to 1/8" audio cable to plug your phone or pad directly into the receiver via an aux input port.

Yes, I use that currently but would like something wireless now. I would have to walk through the house or around front through the garage to access it if I plugged it in.

So you want something to connect wirelessly to that receiver or you want to replace the receiver completely ?
Sonos makes some excellent pieces that do what you want but are costly.
You're probably looking for something more like this....

Ended up with this - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Mounted it through the wall of the garage with the speaker wire and under the soffit. Works great!

You can get blue tooth audio receiver for about $20. Some call them bluetooth adapter. You can first look up harmon kardon bta 10 (costly), then search for cheaper similar products
You can also get a new receiver with built-in bluetooth
or a portable bluetooth speaker, then you won't even need to use the receiver, and can carry this bluetooth speaker anywhere. I think they cost from $30 and up. But since they usually run on battery power they are not very powerful.
