TV wall mounting using existing wall plugs

Hello all,

We gave move into a rented apartment for a year. On the wall there already exist wall plugs for mounting a TV

However, I am having trouble identifying which TV mounting brackets will fit, exactly, these existing plug placements. Any ideas? I have attache an image of the plugs.

Thank you

KC

Welcome to the forums from down under.

There are literally hundreds of wall brackets on the market and every one uses a slightly different setup and spacing. The brackets available here in the States would not necessarily be what's available to you. In looking around I found this site where it looks like one of their brackets may be what you had there. If not..... you'd need to take the hole spacing to a local retail center for matchup.

What is that wall made of ? It looks like those are some type of press in fasteners like mollies or anchors. If that is a masonry wall.... that type of fastener is ok. If the wall is hollow like when using wallboard or sheetrock.... you need to use a very strong fastener based on how big/heavy your TV is.
