Powered Subwoofer Connection
Hello,
I am trying to. make sure I have my Powered Subwoofer connected right. I have an Onkyo TX-SR604. receiver and an Infinity HTS-SUB10 Powered Subwoofer. The receiver has only one RCA jack marked "Pre-Out" and the Subwoofer has two RCA jacks marked "Low Level In' with L & R. I used a Y - RCA cable and connected the single end to the Receiver and the double end
two the two Subwoofer connectors. Is this correct?

Typically you would connect the single preamp line to the left channel. The sub will sum the two inputs together. I don't think you need to use a Y cable but it won't hurt anything if you do.
