Tv antenna

I recently returned 12 cable boxes and bought an antenna. I bought a 12 way splitter and connected all thge cables to the antenna and i have no signal. S it possible the splitter is defective or did i do something wrong?

Splitters reduce signal, so a 12 way? yeah, that's your problem.

Welcome to the forums.

Are you even sure if there are signals in your area ?

You need to connect the antenna to a single TV first.
Do a DTV off air search and see what it comes up with.
This will be a baseline so that you know what's available.

I've been using an outside passive antenna for several years (no amplifier). I receive around 40 channels, 3 TVs. No trouble with that setup until 1 channel recently changed something due to some channel re-allocation.

Did you do a search of new channels on your TVs in antenna mode? As stated previously though - 12 connections is a lot.
