Closet design

I cut down the closet for the bathroom, and now I have a 29" wide closet. As the pic shows, I didn't frame the left side to drop in a door yet, because I wasn't sure if it was going to be a door or like an alcove storage.
Would you put a door in here or do you have another idea for the closet?

Since a 24" prehung door needs a 26" rough opening, You should have added 2 studs on the left side before you put the sheet rock on.

IMHO, I'd look into an accordion door, or curtain, (including a rollup curtain) or as a next to last resort bifold doors. Alcove storage would be an option if you can keep it neat.
I have had bad luck with 2 "regular" doors so close together, both opening into the same corner area "towards" each other. Bumping scratching, catching on each other, trapping a person between them (only once ).
