Mounting looks fine.
You need to open the blower (bottom) service door on the furnace.
I need a picture of where those brown thermostat wires connect.

It looks like the yellow solenoid wires are not connected.
If they are not..... there should not be any water flowing thru the humidifier.

Heres my brown wires at hook up points -they both go into the bottom of the furnace then from there they run back up and out over to the electric water supplying valve- both yellow wires are making it run pjMax bob s

It looks like the solenoid is connected directly to a 24vAC transformer. I don't know if that transformer is always live or switched on with the blower.
Bob.... this is going to get a little difficult. You bought the 600 with the automatic humidistat. That is going to require some additional wiring. I should have have mentioned getting the 600M which only uses a basic two wire humidistat.

This control box came with a temperature thing.Does this have to be installed to the outside air?Anew 24 volt transformer ;came with this unit also; Just found it in the "water shutoff bag".any thing cross your mind on this ........anyone? thank you bob s

It comes with an outside temperature sensor that you can install outside.
This changes the auto humidity setting based on outside temps.

Now have a diagram-digital control
April Air is proving to be Pain..I would like to ask this question. I have diagram from PJmax. I am still wondering where this brand new 24 volt transformer, fits in my new humidifier circuitThe diagram doesn't show the 40 transformer in it,Would anyone else be able to say where it goes in??thank you much bob s

Bob.... this is my forum so I read every reply. Keep all your humidifier questions in this thread.
You don't need that transformer they sent you. Keep it in the furnace spare parts bin.

Very sorry Pj .......for the wrong move on my post-.and thank you much. i'm getting closer to doing this myself each with day that passes .I did receive a list of prospect companies -that WERE one out of 20 names that could and would do this job for me and call-3 days and not a single soul has called me/ I used to just call a contractor,He came out did the work i wanted .I paid him ....new friend.Companies just pick and choose who they want to help.it seems- patience is a virtue. She says ha bob s
ps; I can't quite read the some of letters in the diagram>Can you say where you got this diagram so i can get a little clearer look at the [wire hook ups]letters If not -its all good but want to be sure I was informed, if i made mistake,,this board is over $250.00 ?
Did you know PJ this type- April Aire- has to have a hot water feed,as opposed to regular hook ups like this are usually "All cold water" suppliers? True or false?
