Roach!!!!
I live in rural South Carolina, so I'm no stranger to the Palmetto bug or water bug. I know, in most cases, that's just a nice name for a roach but it makes us feel better.
I often see them outside near outdoor lights or scurrying around near the porch but, the last few days, I have seen two in my house. They are the very large roaches (either American or Smoky Brown) but I'm completely creeped out. I'm terrified now that I'm infested.
I've never seen roaches in my house. The two I did see were immediately captured by my dog that thinks she's a cat. I know large roaches aren't as likely to be indoor roaches, but I'm still concerned. I'm out of right now and would rather not spend money on an exterminator unless it's absolutely necessary. Could I get some of the bait stations they sell and just try those or should I spray? Are these reasonably safe with indoor pets? Please advise. Thanks all.

Got a picture of the bug to even really know it's a roach?
A sticky trap like this will trap anything that tries to crawl through and will not hurt the pets.
