Bed bug nightmare

Hi , this is kind of long but i hope someone will read it and have some imput for me cause i'm just at a loss and miserable ....
On May 4th i discovered bed bugs on our matress. They seemed to have been nesting right on the encasements of the matress and box spring ( we had bed bugs before few years ago so we had the encasements on since then). My husband and i began the process of cleaning / killing the bed bugs with store bought products and DE . We threw out the matress and a bunch of other stuff and we even sprayed the room with some stuff that a exterminator friend of the family suggested and because of that, it wasn't safe to sleep in our bedroom so we started sleeping in our kids room. I have to add that we were only a few weeks away from moving to a new house when this happened. We treated the kids room and the living room as well and washed all clothing and threw out a bunch of stuff .It looked like we were bed bug free for about 2 weeks when i noticed an adult bed bug on our kids bedding and we had a few more bites. I killed the bug and started the process of cleaning /washing spraying and DE all over again.
Our moving day came on May 24th and i still had a feeling that we are not free from the bugs and worried we will move them to the new house. My husband at this point thought i was obsessed and he does not have a reaction to the bugs or ever saw any except at the very beggining .He also refuses to get a professional exterminator because he thinks we don't need one and that the bugs are just in mind due to lack of sleep .
i wish that was the case. About a week after we moved to the new house where we bought all new beds , matresses and encasements and other furniture i saw tiny bed bugs on my kids beds. Maybe 2 or 3. I started the process of cleaning again and treating the beds and room with some natural pesticide that had a very high rating online. Treated our bed/ room too. Never actually saw a bug on our bed but saw something that i was pretty sure was some bed bug poop. One night i sat alone in the living room and a tiny nymph was climbing my shirt, then when i was in the shower i saw another tiny bed bug.
Kept cleaning, vaccuming, washing everything. I really thought it was over. I do not see any bugs on our bedding now BUT last night as i was once again scared to go to sleep i sat there looking on my phone in the kitchen and a tiny nymph bed bug was walking on my table. I killed it and kept sitting there waiting...saw another one!!! I put some DE in my kitchen and exhausted from all of this i finally passed out. This morning i woke up inspecting the beds again and i don't see anything that would indicate bed bugs. All our bedding is white and very clean so it's easy to spot even the smallest ones. So how is it possible that we don't seem to have them on the beds but they are in other rooms? Did we move a bunch of bb eggs and am i killing them as they hatch ? Or is there a nest somewhere that is not in the beds ( maybe in the basement? ) ? I haven't seen any adult bugs or any blood spots on our bedding since we moved .

I stopped mentioning this to my husband because it causes arguments between us. He says we spent a lot of money on this already and he doesn't want to hear about it. I stay at home with the kids so i don't have money for an exterminator and can't prove the bugs are here since the nymphs just look like specs of dirt when you kill them :/

The possibilities of why you see them here but not there and the timing and size of them are endless. Not to mention the fact that just because we don't see something, especially bedbugs, doesn't mean that they aren't there. The fact is, assuming that your identification is correct, you have bed bugs and you will have all life cycles soon if not now already.

Successful treatment of bed bugs is very expensive, time consuming, labor and chemcial intensitve unless heat treatments are performed in which case it is very, very expensive. Heat treatments work when done correctly by a pro. Don't go with low bid on this one. If you husband is balking at diy treatment prices...

Otherwise, I don't know how to even advise someone with regards to bed bug and diy treatments, especially if cost is a factor. Many pest control operators simply won't do or they quit bed bug treatments due to the time and labor factors as it detracts from the type of pest control that they want to do, and are good at.

Two aspects of pest control that are oftentimes beyond the purview of diy'ers are termite treatments and bed bugs with bed bugs being the most difficult. I wish I could help better.

Thank you for your imput. I was able to find a pest control company that i can afford and they are coming tomorrow morning .It's not heat treatment but i'm hoping it will work since i don't think the infestation is that bad just yet. Today i saw a dead bed bug near my bed so that's better than seeing one still alive. I'm hopimg the treatment will work and maybe i can get some sleep soon :/

Sounds good. Make sure to have some specimens to show the pest control company. Hope this works out well for you. Thanks for the update.

These are good encasements that are treated with permethrin. ActiveGuard is a good quality product that is available through various suppliers.
